Mr. Mathias Bassey started his career with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in the year 199 at the then Federal Secretariat Complex, Ikoyi. He holds. Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of Cross River State, Uyo, and a Master’s degree in Industrial & Labour Relations from the University of Lagos, Akoka.

He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Since his career in SON, he has held several positions in the organization including Head of Public Relations, Head of Protocol, and Head of Marketing.

Bassey is presently the Head of Anambra Regional Operations as an Ag.Director. He is an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System trained Auditor and undergone several trainings, Seminars and Workshops in Public Relations and Protocol Management.
