Papaye Ebenezer Don-Pedro holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Bsc) Hons Biochemistry from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State 1986 and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Bayero University, Kano in 2006.

An alumnus of Enitonna High School, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, Mr Don- Pedro has been in the Standards Organisation of Nigeria since 28th November, 1988. He started his career as Standards officer II and was involved in Standards development and later in operations at the state offices, Regional office and corporate headquarters, Abuja.

Mr Don- Pedro was in 2006 appointed Pioneer zonal coordinator, SON Maiduguri office, where he was saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that all technical/other operational activities of SON in Borno and Yobe states are properly carried out and continuously improved upon in line with the mandate of the Organisation.

Mr Don-Pedro also served as Coordinator in Akwa Ibom state and Rivers State between 2011-2016 and later appointed Regional Coordinator, South-South and served in that capacity from 2016-2018.  Mr Don Pedro in June, 2018 was appointed Deputy Director, Operations, SON, Head Quarters, Abuja and went on to serve the Organisation as Head, Standards Development, Abuja, Group Head, Service Standards as an additional responsibility, Head, SON Desk at the one stop Investment centre, NIPC, Abuja, SON Representative on the inter-ministerial committee on zero reject of Nigeria agricultural products.

 

A fellow of the institute of corporate administration of Nigeria (FCAI-2012), Mr Don- Pedro was appointed Head, Library services in February, 2020.

He was promoted Director on 1st January,2021 and appointed Director, Anambra Directorate on 19th January,2022.

 

Mr Don-Pedro is happily married with children. He enjoys travelling and reading.
