Mr Chukwuma Lemachi Aharanwa, joined the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in 2006 as a Principal Accountant. He has served in various capacity of the organisation including Head, Finance and Accounts Southern Region in the Operational Headquarters, Lagos. He also served as the Deputy Director, Financial & Fiscal Reporting Division (FFRD) of the Finance and Accounts in the Corporate Headquarters Abuja. He is presently the Head, Southeast Regional Operations of the organisation.
Mr Aharanwa’s wealth of experience covers Banking and Finance, Trade and the Civil Service. His career has taken him to the nerve centres of Nigerian cities of Lagos, Kano and Abuja.
He holds a first degree in Economics with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Anambra State University of Technology (now Nnamdi Azikiwe University) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from the Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC). Mr Aharanwa is an alumni of the Manchester Business School, UK and a Licenced Project Manager from the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN) among others.
He is happily married to Mrs Blessing Eleojo Aharanwa and they are blessed with children.
