Agafie Chinedu Gabriel, was born on the 21st July 1969 in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government area of Delta State.
He attended both Abuedo primary school and Emokpae model primary school, in the old Bendel State (1974-1979) respectively. On completion of the primary education, he proceeded to St Anthony’s college Ubulu-Uku, for his secondary education (1979-1984)
Thereafter, he obtained a bachelor of science degree in Political Science (1994) from the university of Nigeria, Nsukka and MPA in Public Administration (2010) from the university of Lagos.
He joined the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), in July 1996 and progressed through the ranks to the post of a Director. Currently, the Director (Anambra Region). He has also served in various capacities in several states including Akwa-Ibom, Kaduna, Akure, Lagos, and Abuja, and participated in several courses both in Nigeria and abroad.
He is a chartered member, Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a fellow, National Institute for Security Study (NISS).
He is happily married and blessed with children and his hobbies include, travelling, reading and athletics.
Summary: He is result oriented team leader with sufficient working experience covering both administrative and technical matters. A fast and willing learner, detail oriented and adapt to changing work requirement in order to meet the organisational objectives/goals. Comfortable under pressure and with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
