Mrs. Toyin R. Dadan-Garba is the current Head of Internal Audit at the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON). She is a highly experienced financial management professional and certified auditor with a strong background in public sector accounting and internal control systems.
She holds a First Degree in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (obtained in 1994), and an MBA in Financial Management. She is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI). In addition, she is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC).
Mrs. Dadan-Garba began her career at the Standards Organisation of Nigeria in 1998. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has served in various capacities across numerous SON offices, including those in Lagos, Yola, Ibadan, the Corporate Headquarters, the FCT State Office, and currently, once again at the Corporate Headquarters in Abuja. She has held several strategic positions, including Assistant Director of Accounts for the Northern Region and Deputy Director of Budget and Budgetary Control. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial governance.
As an ISO Auditor for ISO 9001, she plays a vital role in upholding quality standards and best practices within the Organisation’s operations.
Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, listening to music, and keeping up with the news. She is happily married with children.
