The Import Permit is only issued to exempt certain categories of imports of regulated products from offshore certification. Such categories include imported Industrial Machinery, project-specific items, Humanitarian/Charitable items, and other non-commercial products.
All other products must be certified as meeting the requirements of application standards; thus, all other products must process PC
