The Secretary General of the African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO), Dr. Hermogene Nsengimana and his team visited the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) for an onsite assessment of Nigeria’s readiness towards the hosting of global Leaders in Standardization, at the 30th General Assembly of ARSO.
The visit by Dr. Nsengimana included review meetings on the outlined activities and an inspection of the Venue. At the end of the visit, Dr. Nsengimana, expressed his satisfaction and congratulated the Federal Government of Nigeria.
While acknowledging the appreciation of Dr. Nsengimana on the warm reception accorded him, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke, the Director General/Chief Executive of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), assured the Delegates of an exciting experience of the hospitality of the Good People of Nigeria.
The events scheduled for 17th-21st June, 2024 at the Abuja Continental Hotel, will include a week long exhibition and Conferences on contemporary issues of Standardization for the development and promotion of quality in Industry, Trade and Investments.
