PRINCESS MARLINE SAMBO WAZIRI, PH.D CHEM, FICCON, FCSN, FIEON,       FPIN,   FIMC, FIPAN, (CHARTERED CHEMIST/REGIONAL EXPERT)DIRECTOR, STANDARDS ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA (SON)

Dr. Marline Waziri (A.K.A Mama Africa) is a Servant Leader, a technocrat, and Regional Expert on Standardization and related activities.

 

Born into Royal family and recently conferred with the title of Waziriya (Queen) Lafia the second by the Emirate council, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

Dr. Princess Waziri, a Chartered Chemist, obtained a Doctorate Degree in Applied Organic Chemistry from the University of Jos, Nigeria – where she had also obtained her Masters’ degree before then, she had completed her Bachelor’s degree and graduated with honours from the Federal University of Technology, Yola. Princess Waziri also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College, Nigeria. She is currently a Director serving the nation at the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON).

In recognition of her meritorious service and commitment to duty, Dr. Waziri was posted to the African Organization for Standardization (ARSO), an apex Standardization Organization in Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. She also served in the ARSO Governing Council and General Assembly as a Regional Expert in various countries – thereby improving her international image as well as reputation in the world of Standardization.

Princess. Waziri is a recipient of several Honours and Awards of Excellence. She is the author of several books, including Standardization on the African Continent and Servant Hood: The Heart Beat of the Almighty

Dr. Waziri has served as a Nigerian national delegate to numerous International Forums on Trade, Standardization and related professional matters. She has also served as Nigeria’s representative, facilitator, discussant or rapporteur on several other technical committees.

Dr. Marline Waziri is a member of the Governing Councils and Fellow / Member of six professional bodies – the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON), the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) the Institute of Export of Nigeria (IEON), the Polymer Institute of Nigeria (PIN), and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) as well as Certified Management Specialist with Distinction in Time Management from London Graduate School. She is also currently on the Governing Council of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN). She is also a Deaconess in Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) having attend the Redeemed Bible School and School of Disciple. She is married and blessed.
