Nigeria through the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) hosts a 2-day Consultative Workshop on Developing a Pan-African Quality Policy on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday 30, 2019 at the Lagos-Osun Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Standardization and Quality Infrastructure Experts from Central, North and West Africa will participate in the workshop which is a follow up to a similar one held in Nairobi, Kenya for East and Southern African experts last week.
Over 55 delegates from Cental, North and other West African countries are being received in Abuja to be joined by invited Nigerian Stakeholders in Standardization and Quality Infrastructure at the workshop under the auspices of the African Organisation for Standardization (ARSO).
The development of a Pan-African Quality Policy is to provide necessary guidance and support to the development of Quality Infrastructure on the continent to promote the free flow of products and services within Africa and with the rest of the World for mutual benefits.
