I graduated at the University of Ilorin, Kwara state in 1991 with B.SC. Accounting became an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) in 2001 and was awarded Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) in 2018.
I secured employment in Allwell Brown & Co. Chartered Accountants (the first indigenous Accounting Firm in Rivers state), Port Harcout as Audit Trainee between 1992 and 1996. I also worked with Yemi Afolayan & Co. Chartered Accountants in Port Harcourt as Audit Manager/ partner and Gulflink Ltd. as the company’s accountant (1997 to 2006)
I was employed in Standards Organisation of Nigeria in June 2006 as Principal Accountant on CONRAISS 10 in Finance and Accounts Department. I am a qualified system auditor specialised in QMS ISO 9001:2015. My career progression with SON took me to the position of Director in 2024 with my success in the promotion examination.
I was posted to South South Region in March 2024 as Acting Director, South South Region and later confirmed as substantive Director in May 2024 effective January, 2024.
I am happily married and blessed with children.
