The Director General Standards Organisation of Nigeria presented an Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Certificate to Jad Construction Ltd., an operator in the Oil and Gas sector of the Nigerian economy.
The Director General Mr. Osita Aboloma represented by the Director Operations, Engr. Felix Nyado said it was heartwarming to see that Jad Construction Ltd has put in place the IMS involving quality, environmental & occupational, health and safety management systems.
While congratulating the company for the triple feat certification, Mr. Aboloma said the management systems framework will provide Jad Construction Ltd with a robust and globally recognized system that will enable them compete favorably and stand out among their peers.
While complementing the effort of the Company on being steadfast and committed by consistently providing products and services that meet customer requirements, the SON Chief Executive warned that the Certificates will be withdrawn if the management systems structures are broken or corrective actions are not taken within specified timeline.
He therefore called on both private and public organisations to enroll for the ISO management systems certification to promote continual improvement in their processes.
In his remarks on the unveiling of the Certificate, the CEO of Jad Construction Ltd, Mr. Justice Mokwenye commended SON on the role it played in ensuring that systems run effectively in Nigeria.
Mr. Mokwenye assured the DG that being the first in the industry to get the triple certification, Jad Construction will remain committed to raising the bar in the oil and gas sector.
Jad Construction ltd were presented with the IMS certificate of conformity on ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 Standards.
